Case Study for:
Global Star
Did you ever dream of building your business to a level that made your company an attractive acquisition? Global Star Software had that dream in 1998 when they hired E.B. Carlson Marketing to be their manufacturers representative. As a Canadian based start-up publisher, Global Star had virtually no U.S. retail software presence prior to hiring our firm.
By working closely with all departments within their company, we were able to secure meaningful distribution at Staples, Office Depot, Best Buy, Circuit City, Office Max and several other key retail accounts within the first six months of their relationship. Over the next four years, we grew our portion of Global Star’s business to in excess of $10,000,000 annually. The company founders realized their dream when in 2003, Global Star was acquired by Take 2 Interactive.
